mak Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hi, The link that you have suggested that tells about setting in WinCC Flexible, but i am using WinCC 6.0 SP4, CPU317F and they are on profibus link. In that there is no as such area pointer concept. Is that right?Suggest me more sir. Thanks,

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (262)	If WinCC station and PLC are connected via Ethernet CP you can make SNTP/NTP server out of WinCC station and make CP to syncronize CPU. Also you can use SFC0/1 for reading/writing system time in PLC. So you can download current date and time from WinCC to PLC, then use SFC in PLC to perform syncronization.
