DB in Software Redundancy

I tried with a small program and it works. but when i transfer my real one. when i switch to run i got system failure. i use IEC 112 IEC timer, starting from DB 111. i got this message: ;////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Event 1 of 500: Event ID 16# 4562 STOP caused by programming error (OB not loaded or not possible, or no FRB) Breakpoint in user program: Cyclic program (OB1) Priority class: 1 FB number: 104 Module address: 62 Previous operating mode: RUN Requested operating mode: STOP (internal) Internal error, Incoming event 12:52:57.716 PM 08/27/2008 Event 2 of 500: Event ID 16# 2523 Area length error when writing Instance DB, double-word access Access address: 284 Requested OB: Programming error OB (OB121) OB not found, or disabled, or cannot be started in the in the current operating mode Internal error, Incoming event 12:52:57.712 PM 08/27/2008 ;////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// i put OB121 (nop0), then i have error in DB 284, 288, 290, 292, 294 i tried to delete DB 284 and not use it, cpu message wrote DB 284 not found. my question: 1. Does any of the software redundant use this DB284? 2. When i use OB121 why there are so many trouble with other DB? Any suggestion? thanks in advance

JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	It looks like you are using AG-Send and AG-Recv for redundancy communication. Can you copy and paste FC100 call in OB100 here? I need to look at the paramatersto understand your configuration.

Ssc_Mikro Posts: 196 Rating: (12)	Hi JMJ The error first error is an illegal operation in FB104, I your open FB104 and type in the block address “Edit” / “Go to” / “Block address”, remember that your editor must be in STL mode. Then it will jump to the instruction that cause the fault. The second error is the instants address 284 that is attach to FB104, look under stacks in the diagnose buffer. Maybe is a pointer in FB104 there is out of rangeJ. When you wrote you have so many trouble with other DB’s are they also attach to FB04, as instance DB. If this is the case then you have the explanation.

JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	Hello Søren Christiansen, I think by mistake, you addressed your answer to me instead of Sulung First of allthis is a software redundancy project. FB104 is a standard block part of software redundancy. So we can not look in the block as it is protected. I know the meaning of diagnotics buffer events, but you can not look intothat blocksbecause they are protected.That is why asked for FC100 detailsfrom OB100 as this is the initialization block for software redundancy.

JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	Dear Sulung, I looked at your OB100 and found a problem. As per your first post, you use 112 IEC times starting from DB111. This means you have DB111 to DB222 as IEC timer instance DBs. But as per your OB100 you have IEC_NO. = 201 and IEC_LEN = 113 which means you have DB201 to DB313 as IEC timer DBs so you need all these DB to be created as Instance DB to IEC timer and loaded to the PLC, otherwise your redundancy program will give errors as happened in your case. It also justifies why you got error DB284, 288 etc as they are in the IEC timer DB range. You can notdelete them you need to make all these DBs tobe of IEC timer instance type anddownload to PLC. Or correct your OB100parameters. Hope this makes it clear on what to do. If you need any further assistance,please ask.

My mistake, i have switch all of my DB from 111 to 201, which means i my first DB is from DB201 to DB313. I forgot this when i wrote my question in the first place. So my problem is still the same. I down load my program to CPU everything is fine. Once i switch to run mode, i got SF LED on, and CPU got into Stop mode.
