But the Retintive Memory is Limitedwhile the Flash memory"EPROM" is much bigger than this retintive memory My question is how to make the CPU read and Write theDB's to/from the Flash Memory "EPROM"not the retentive Memory Thanks Attachment untitled.jpg (44 Downloads)

Right if they are not marked Non Retain. You can find this check mark in the Data block object properties>General-Part 2. Cheetos But the Retintive Memory is Limitedwhile the Flash memory"EPROM" is much bigger than this retintive memory My question is how to make the CPU read and Write theDB's to/from the Flash Memory "EPROM"not the retentive Memory 1-You have tomake sure you need more than 2 Kbytes of retentive data for the CPU you have. 2- You can write to the MMC using SFC84 (Check this FAQ) but FAQ bear in mind that the MMCs support a limited number of writing cycles (according to the manufacturer's details, 100,000 writing cycles are possible). DO NOT DO IT CYCLICALY AS A FLASH MEMORY HAS LIMITED NUMBER OF WRITES. this is useful for recipe databases and similar. data is recorded in flash when it is changed.
