Then you could write them in CSV files and transfer to excel. If we speak about values from excel to DB then you also need a HMI, then write VBS script to read CSV file and update the values in PLC. Hello Darious Actually I have already prepared the Symbole list of Digital Input & Output in Symbol table and I want to Create Input DB (DB50) for DI & Output DB (DB51) for DO by using the same name used in symbole table. So i Just want to know is there anyway to use the Symbol name of DI directly to that particular DB.

For example: you are using I0.0 as symbol "Mot_23_Run". You want to transfer it to DB12.DB0.0 and retain the symbol. You should name DB0.0 as "Mot_23_Run" inside DB12. Then in the Symbol Table name DB12 as "Inputs_DB" for example. The you could refer tyo DB12.DB0.0 as "Inputs_DB".Mot_23_Run A bit of work, but it will work. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

If You have more motors of similar operation in your project then you can also use UDT for the same. You just creat one UDT for motor operation & assign symbols as you defined in I/O list like Run, Stop, Trip & Use that UDT to DB with Motor No.
