DC drive optimisation

SzymekEl Posts: 39 Rating: (3)	Hello, I ve been looking for a document that would help me optimizating a closed loop controller on Simotion. Its old DC drive BBC with tachometer. Analog setpoint derive from Simotion C230, measurement derive from incremental encoder (2000 counts per revolution). I need practical directives how to determine max acceleration and how to set up Simotion controllers parameters: static: - kv - P controller gain - kpc - precontrol weighting factor dynamic: - position time constant - torque time constant - velocity time constant Perhaps something else its important to optain max performance, I'll be thankful for any help. But still I wait for something practical directions beacuse its a more valuable then manuals Regards, Szymon Leja
