DCC version upgradation

Hussain Ali Posts: 30 Rating: (1)	Dear all I have to implement a few logicx using DCC editor. I have DCC V2.0 SP5 but starter installed in my system is Starter V4.3. DCC V2.0.5 is not supported by this starter version. i need to upgrade DCC V2.0.5 to V 2.2 . Is there any way of this upgradation or i need o purchase new sotware package? Or kindly tell me that if i can down grade Sinamics? if yes, then what is the procedure? Regards Hussain Ali

Normaly you can update the Version in the CFC block. Open the CFC chart and select Options -> Block Types. In the next dialogs you can update the DCC Version. Regards Christoph

Instead i have Starter V 4.3 . Now tell me how can i upgrade this DCC version. what will be the upgrading license for it? or should i need to purshe whole new package for DCC V 2.2? If you have installed STARTER and CFC V8.0 the SW Part DCC V2.x is allready installed on your system and you can use your older DCC Logic. But you need a new licence für the CFC V8.0. To update your ControlLogic: Open the old project with your DCC Charts in the actual STARTER. The STARTER ask you to update the DCC Charts from Version 7.0 to 8.0. After this update open the Charts and update the blocks (Options -> Block Types) Regards Christoph

Hussain Ali Posts: 30 Rating: (1)	Dear Christoph Actually, the old program was in Master Drive and now i have to commission a new Sinamics in place of master drive so i need to implement again all the free function blocks in it. As the sinamics is S120 1.5kW so one of support team member told me that free function blocks are not available for S120 < 250kW. Thats why i purchased DCC software. I haveSTARTER 4.3.1 installed in my system. Will it work for my SINAMICS Drive S120 1.5kW?
