I am trying to delete a csv file on press of a button. The code I have is as follows: Sub DeleteImportData() 'Tip: ' 1. Use the <CTRL+SPACE> or <CTRL+I> shortcut to open a list of all objects and functions ' 2. Write the code using the HMI Runtime object. ' Example: HmiRuntime.Screens("Screen_1"). ' 3. Use the <CTRL+J> shortcut to create an object reference. 'Write the code as of this position: Dim FolderPath Dim FileName Dim path Dim fso 'Define the folder path FolderPath = "\\middcfp\UK\Panels\DataStore\Import" 'Define the name of the log file to be created FileName = SmartTags("FileName") 'Selection of the storage path path = FolderPath & "\" & FileName & ".csv" 'Create the file system object to initilise the delete of the file Set fso = CreateObject("FileCtl.File") fso.DeleteFile(path) End Sub But I get the following error: Error: Object doesn't support this property or Method fso.DeleteFile. Which leads me to believe the function DeleteFile does not work on a Windows CE based panel. I have tried the alternative fso.Kill but this also returns the same error. Is there an alternative way to handle file deletion? Thanks, Lee

(Version, Servicepack, Update) - Do you use WinCC Basic/Comfort/Advanced Runtime or WinCC Professional Runtime? - Which Panel or Panel PC or PC (Version of Operating System)do you use? - Look in the Properties of the Panel or Runtime, Which Version do you use in the Project? - Create a clear Screenshot of the Problem if its Possible, because a Picture tells you more than 1000 Words That would be helpful, :)

If you want to use Scripts on Comfort Panel then you have to use the Objects for WinCE. If you run on PC System or in Simulation then you have to use the Objects for Windows... -> Use (for Comfort Panels): Set fso = CreateObject("FileCtl.FileSystem") and of course you have to use the WinCE Command fso.kill ....... Bye Murof
