Delete .csv file on HMI

For now I only log data from 1 moter andthe script create a new file every day.If it is a big machine the storage data will be immense after a while.Is it possible to automaticallydelete files from my HMI (comfort TP1200) on regular intervals (week/month/year)? Best regards. Hello RvdG, sure it is possible. Use command "kill" if you run your script on WinCE Panel, or "deleteFile" if run on a PC. regards

Use command "kill" if you run your script on WinCE Panel, or "deleteFile" if run on a PC. regards Added to the outstanding reply of eisenpferdreiter: You can call the kill script on regular intervals with scheduled tasks.
	Keep it simple and on-topic. A simple straight-to-the-point answer is often of more quality than a complicated one.

TIA doesn't found the object filesystem in the line filesystem.Kill(pathname) Hi RvdG, I'm not an expert on VBS but maybe you forgot to set the reference to your object? Dim fo Set fo= CreateObject("FileCtl.File") fo.kill(pathname) can that be the problem? (share the code for a more specific answer) Kind regards, Jens
