Delete unused tags

That is quite odd.

As a quick experiment, would you try archiving your project, then retrieve/restore to a different project name. Open the restored project and try the same 10 tag delete.  If it improves, please try all your unused tags and see if that helps.

I am wondering if perhaps your project isn't just "out of sorts" for lack of a better term, and by archiving and restoring it may re-sort things out.

If it still takes the same amount of time, please submit a support request with siemens and submit your archived project for their review.

If they find it works great on all their installs during testing, you may be told to try uninstalling and reinstalling or repairing your portal install.

i have same situation than above post, 

in my case i have to delete about 2000 tags, 

if i select 10tags to delete from the cross reference, it takes more than 15 min ;-(

if i select all unused tags i don't even know how long it can take ..... i stop it (by stopping the process "alt ctrl del " ) after more than i hour!

what is happening with the delete feature!?!?

any one got an idea,
