Hi, Now I want to delete the SMI data in the 6FX2001-5JE22-3DA0, but when I select the CU320 expert list, select Expert mode, enter the component number in param p4690, then select p4691, there is no option '[30] Delete SMI data' in the drop down for param p4691. In the Encoder replacement in 1FK7 G2 and 1FT7 (A5E34676237B AA) manual in section 2.10 'How to delete an encoder', step 7 says 'Choose [30] "Delete SMI data" from the dropdown menu for p4691, but that option is not present. Does anyone know if there is a configuration or software version conflict here? Thanks in advance. |

Reffering back to the Encoder replacement in 1FK7 G2 and 1FT7 (A5E34676237B AA) manual in section 2.10 'How to delete an encoder', it does mention that the 'software you are using must be either SINAMICS SW 4.x or SINUMERIK SW 4.x'. I cannot confirm if SW version 2.6 SP2 HF17 is also acceptable or if deleting the encoder can only be done only with SW 4.x or higher. I'm wondering now if SW 2.6 ever did have this functionality? Is it possiblt that the manual is only referring to SW 4.x because it's dated July 2014 and 4.x was the current firmware for that year?
