I am working on one project in which it has several DP & PA devices.

I have use SFS51 for the detection of node fault on DP network and its working Fine.

Does anyone know how I can detect node fault on PA network?

just for the information I have used DP/PA link 6ES7 153-2BA82-0XB0.

1) how can i read diagnostic?

2) how i can disable or enable the following diagnostics:

• Module status; default setting: enable
• Channel-related diagnostics; default setting: enable
• Local LifeList equipotential bonding line; default setting: disable

Hello simply best,

in your HW-configuration there is a diagnostic address for each node. the structure of the diagnostics you find in manual.

ad 1) By reading proper address you will get diagnostic information you want.

ad 2) you can either change corresponding GSD-file (if you want that configuration to be the default) or you do so manually in HW-configuration.

ad 3) according to manual:

"Reading the local LifeList

The local LifeList is disabled in the default setting of the configuration. To read it out, you must enable the "Local LifeList equipotential bonding line" parameter.

You can read the local LifeList in data record 50 of the DP/PA coupler."

Structure of SIMATIC Bus links DP/PA coupler, active field distributors, DP/PA Link and Y Link is same, as stated in top of linked information.

Finally It is done. 

As i used IM153-2 DP/PA link , I did logic with SFS 13 for reading diagnostic of IM 153-2.

Also we can use SFS 51 With SZL_ID = B4.

From read diagnostic data, Bytes from 120 to 135 I can detect which slave is performing communication with IM 153-2.
