ThePDI Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hello Experts. We have here a Sinumerik 840d system NCU 571.2 2axis. The system exist from partscrap so no machine frame is involve. Just wants this tobe working Parts we have: PCU50: PentiumII 333 MMC Version MMC103 6.00.22 2000/07/12 MCP: 6FC5203-0AD10-0AA0 DP Slave: 1X ET200M 6ES7-153-2AA01-0XB0-1M153-2 Inp/Outp: 7X 321-1BH01-0AA0 and 1X 322-1HH00-0AA0 Simodrive U/E Module Int/Ext 5/10KW 6SN1146-1AB00-0BA1 NCU 571.2 6FC5357-0BB11-0AE0 with SoftCard verion 05.03.08 PowerDrive: LT-Module int 2X15A 6SN1123-1AB00-0AA1 Controlboard: 6SN1118-0DM21-0AA0 version B Servomotors 1FT6034-1AK71-3EG1 Absolute encoder F02 2048 S/R 1FT6034-1AK71-3EH1 Absolute encoder F02 2048 S/R (with brake) NCU has complet cleared with the S3 and S4 Switch Everything wired connected together exept the inputs ofthe I/O's most inputs are bridged to 24V cause limitswitches and E-STOP alarms. I've using a basic "Machine" project in step7 from ToolBox50105 just and standard milling machine later on added the DP-Slave ET200M with the I/O's into the project and loaded to the PLC. So far going well. Next was adding the 2 Axis from the knowledge pdf later on setup of the motor's no bigdeal afther NCU reboot the red LED goes off on the drivecontrol. Connection terminal 64/63/48 and NS1,NS2 did i made manual switch since i do not know where to connect to. The Problem once the powerup and switch on 64/63/48 (NS1,NS2 and 663 bridged) motors can not moving. On the HMI message "Wait: Axis enable missing" you also rotate the shaft and the encoder response also but there's no power on the motor it self. Service drive: X Y Drive enable(terminal 64/63) 1 1 Pulse enable(terminal 63/48) 1 1 Pulse enable(terminal 663 /SI: drive relay) 1 1 Pulse enable PLC 0 0 Speed controller enable NC 0 0 Ramp-function generator rapid stop 0 0 DC link status (0 = on, 1 = off) 0 1 Pulses enable 0 0 Drive ready 1 1 Since this system is in factory setting and simple basic milling project i do not know do next. Are there any parameters in MD had tobe set, PLC program, hardware choice correct?? other connection needed (I/O's) etc... any defect that may occur if you look at DC link status. I do not know why axis Y is off. Any help will do I just cool if it's running with regards Paul

How about your other enables like 112 & 9 ( servo lock enable /setting up operation enable) wired... 1u1,2u1,1v1,2v1,1w1,2w1 connectors that is wired ??? if i look your informations there is no enables written in the PLC LOGIC that why your getting this error... Regards, Prakash Thanks for your reply Prakash terminal 112 & 9 was by default already jumperd and 1u1,2u1,1v1,2v1,1w1,2w1. As far i know i got all terminals connected of the infeed. Exept terminal X111(74,73.2,73.1,72) X121(5.3,5.2,5.1). Not sure if it's also needed For the moment i'm testing it through 3~ 230V inverter or else for 380 i have to bring the system to the workshop. Yes i've tested before on 380V. MD Drive i've added the power module and the motor types, and in MD General,MD Channel and MD Axis has being automatic adjusted afther i add the motor and modules. The encoder selection i have chosen the with absolute measuring systems (EnDat interface) I have added your code into the OB1 and "PLC pulses enable" shows now a "1" it seems like it works! But is it correct?and does this code only for the X axis? I can send you my project from step7 most components already added but. I'm not a that skilled PLC programmer t. I mostly know the LAD language but than S7 1200 PLC's Thanks Regards, Paul

It is just a example which i have given...you can have this with some inputs coming and then only enables getting switch ON...and example which i have given is for X axis only.... If you have Simatic Step7 software with you...download/upload can be done Regards, Prakash

And they got power (cannot rotate the shaft by hand) when the terminals are switch on. But i still received a message "WAIT Axis Enable missing" if i want to JOG or in Auto mode WAIT feedrate is missing: In service drive i got only by Y axis the DC link status is not enable. But the motor receive it's holding power. I've also check the power module's IGBT for damage. Everything seems tobe ok Is there a way to check it's signal on the powermodule circuitboard thats monitors the DC Link power on each axis channel? I'm just more thinking if there's a defective opto that connects to the controlboard but not sure. Because i purchase powermodule and controlboard separately, do not sure if one of them are defect. Powermodule was tested by the seller. If someone have some experience with this problem i'dd realy love to know. Regards, Prakash Hello, There are no alarms found durring the JOG except for the axis Enable missing. Maybe i do it wrong way but in "configure drive" i've uncheck 1 axis but ends up with an alarm that axisneeds to configure. Is it possible toselect in "configure drive" to a singlepowermodule and drive control? cause i'vea 2 channel unit. Everythingi done onis on module numbers which i was not sure if i could select a single unit from the list instead of a dual unit. Regards Paul
