In principle, you could use the V18 solution to develop scripts for V19. However, you will miss the new JavaScript objects and methods introduced with V19. I am not sure if the application example will get a V19 update - you can ask the responsible person using the "Provide feedback" link at the bottom of the page.

However, starting with WinCC Unified V19 you can use the SIMATIC WinCC Unified JS Connector.
