DI spares error??

sunn7 Posts: 152 Rating: (2)	hi there are some spares for one DI card , is giving SF indincation on card side and the module in HWCONFIG is availble and ok , but in module information message is DI sensor or load voltage missing how to remove this Signal fail at card side. card properties are attached here, is it possible to disable from HWCONFIG But in other DI cards, there are sme sapres , but no error, but only the above card is error? thank you sun Attachment DI.pdf (258 Downloads)

Missing Sensor Supply If you activate the check box, the missing sensor supply check is enabled for the channel group of the digital input module. The missing sensor supply check applies to the modules that provide a sensor (contact) with a fused voltage. If the sensor supply is no longer present, the module enters this diagnostic event in its diagnostic data area. Please try to clear the mentioned check box and redownload the HW config. again to the CPU. Best Regards,

sunn7 Posts: 152 Rating: (2)	hi ayman but there are some signals connected to in the same group at 1,2,3 but 4,5,6,7 not connected if i take out this check box , the whole group is disabled then wht will happen if really no signal at 1,2,3?? will it give indication in Operator station thanks in advance sun

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (264)	IF you have passive sensors (2DMU D position on module) - connect resistance 1,5-3,3 kOhm. In case you can't deactivate channels. If you have active sensor with its own PS (4DMU C position) - tou can just connect 1 sensor on 2 channels.

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (264)	Oh, misread, sorry) As to DI - can you put wiring scheme here? Also you can try to change 2 DI modules to exclude module fault. Also you can try to input "1" (think via +24VDC - but have to check that) to unused channels.
