stef1415 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	hello, i have an installation in tia portal. The plc is S7-1200, 3x ET200S and 2x KTP400 basic mono PN. The problem is when I'm having a I/O field, he will not show me the value off my input. he's showing '#'. The weird thing is that I can display an output in that I/O field. sorry for my bad English. K!ke Posts: 1299 Rating: (136)	Hello, check the format pattern of your IO-field. If its e.g. "99" and you try to input a number which is 100 or more it will show # If you try to display external tags from S7-1200 check the connection. K!ke

stef1415 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	hi k!ke, the format pattern is ok. i'm just using the I/O field for testing for an other problem. I'm using an plc tag but the hmi change it automatically to an hmi tag. The real problem is that is was having an image that is going invisible when i1.2 is low(0).In the beginning of programming it's work well, but suddenly it stops. Everything of the hmi program works well except that. kind regards

K!ke Posts: 1299 Rating: (136)	So I think the real problem isn't the hmi or the objects you use but the input. maybe there are the wrong adresses in plc or something. Is i1.2 working in plc? you can try to reconnect tags to plc. K!ke

I've already try to put the tag of the plc in the hmi(so he reconnect it) en I also pressed reconnect tags in the plc. Wednesday I'll go back to the site and I will try to use absolute address in place off symbolic address. this is an internship assignment for my high school in Belgium. And I don't have many time to spend on this project because I need to start with an other project. So if you have other tips feel free to post them. kind regards Stefaan
