Difference beetwen USB 6ES7972-0CB20-0XA0 and CP5512

Dear HansJ, Here is a link how to connect to S7-200: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22634774 So it's possible to use USB PC-adapter and CP5512. The difference between USB PC-adapter and CP5512: - USB adapter needs power from CPU, CP5512 doesn't. So you can connect a CP5512 to any place on the Profibus network. - USB adapter can communicate at max. baudrate 1,5 MB/s, and a CP5512 can 12 MB/s - When you want to transfer projects to panels, this is not released with USB PC adapter. See http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/28542647 and http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/27155534 The advantage is that it reacts and behaves as a CP5611 A2.
