Hi, I wan't to know when we will use assert management and Maintenance station. Is assert management and maintenance station both are the same. Thanks, Surya |

Hi, basically its the same. Plant asset management is per definition the diagnosis and maintenance of your plant assets (HW components like controllers, PC stations, ...). Maintenance station is the optional PCS 7 product wich allows you to configure the asset management part of you software. You could do it manually without using maintenace station, but it would quite a lot of work to do. Maintenance station is doing a lot of work for you, depending on the HW configuration, connections, ... Checkout the manual of SIMATIC PCS 7 Maintenace station for detailled informations: Link |
