difference between step 7 software

TIA Portal doesn't support all hardware in range of STEP 7.There are some lists for that .Note,S7-400H is not supported by current TIA versions. To change a project, hardware and software, you need to know exact software and additional library used.If the project was developed by PCS 7,you should know the exact version(even more details). Abdalkader Posts: 65 Rating: (5)	i think it's almost The same for most of things but some siemens parts like S7-1200 PLC's , Comfort HMI panel will not work with Step 7 v5.5 as an example then TIA Portal is your solution
