Hello, the SIMOTON D have the PLC and Drive logic in one Deviceintegrated and integrated Motion Control functions to control the drives. Regards Christoph |

Hi, Sinamics s120: This is basic position controller. We can perform the single axis positiong tasks like, if you have 2 axis machine in which 2nd axis moves 10mm after the 1st one moves 20mm. That means action one by one. we have64 traversing blocks where we can configure.program the positions with speed and accelerations for each movement. We can also control the axis movements on profibuss network for which we need a Profibuss master like S7 300/S7 400 Plcs. Simotion D: This is a strong position controller where we can do the synchronization. Example: If we a axis which a has to follow a encoder/another axis speed and position, we have to synchronise the 1st axis with 2nd one so that the 1st axis follows the 2nd axis. We can also perform gearing operations. Simotion D is motion controller + PLC, so we can write the logic in Simotion D itself and no need have PLC for creating a sequence of opeartional logic.
