how are you all I have PLC S7-300 , push buttom panel (PP17 II) from siemens at the back of this panel there small screen with buttom using it I can adjust the parameters of communcation of the screen , I make adjustment for all paramters . there is ready made UDT -in it there is specifications of buttoms and lamps-this UDT , I insert it in PLC program. althouth all this trials I failed to make communication bet PLC & PP17II please help me to solve this problem thank you |

yes sir , I read this PDF many times , I execute all instructions mentioned in it . but I don't know why the problem is still. I doubt that , the PLC software has something wrong , need to adjusted , need to edited. please help me solve this problem |

first I want to thank you alot for your attension, second in PP17II side in I adjust the paramters as following : MPI address: 1 Baud rate: 187.5 KBaud Data area type: Marker byte Memory word: 100 Configuring data block: 2 PLC address: 2 PLC type: 300 (S7-300) Highest station address: 126 Number of MPI masters: 1 Attachmentpp17.zip (344 Downloads) |

Dear ahmedmae94, The highest station address should be the same in CPU and PP17. At this moment in CPU is 31 and in PP17 is 126. Change it at one side. Best regards, Wizard |

Look at - You chose "Data area type: Marker byte" and "Configuring data block: 2". I thing this must be "Data area type: Data block" and"Configuring data block: 2" or"Data area type: Marker byte" and "Marker byte - some number, for example 100". You can check this in manual - page 18. Hope this helps. regards |
