It's a bit harder to hear than isn't free. When you pay 600€ one weight module, you can expect to have this simple configuration tool, free...  Especially, when you use it one time.

Money is money in Siemens Company.

After few tests and I have finaly Read and write datas to my WP231 throught Modbus, and can modify digital output as expected.

My Modbus configuration  is SWAP for WORD, and no SWAP to Bytes.(as default)

All my Digital outputs are configure in DR7 as output and controled by DR18 values.

1) To read Gross weight ; Read 2 WORD at address 3008 and not 43008 like than you tell me in your first reply. (Nota: i do that from PC terminal Modbus software and not from PLC).

The values return are correctly swapped as expected.

2) To Write to the digital output as you explain before:

                    1) Write Digital value at 1612 address (as idicate in Datasheet)

                    2) Write 4018 at 920 address, and 1 at 921 address. to update DR18 and the OutPut

One thing is strange: 

The value you need to write in 1612 address is not conform with data Sheet. Normally  DQ0 adrress is 1612.16 and like WORD are swapped, normally to activate DQ0, you need to write 80 (0000000010000000). But in fact no , the good writting  value is 1 (000000000000001). Is-it like Byte are complitly invert, or like DQ0 address is 1612.9.

Same things for others outputs.    Write 2 in 1612 to active  DQ1 output (Alone), write 4 for DQ2, and 8 for DQ3.

It-is strange because  when i read Weight Word are just swapped, but when i write value, it be swapped and inverted .  Perhaps it's juste datasheet error.
