Hi all, I am designing a control system based on S7-400H w/redundant I/Os and planning to use MTA in order to simplify wiring. I chose the 16 DO relay MTA (6ES7 650-1AM30-3XX0) because I need dry contacts as hardwired interface. This module is said to be compatible (source: Manual, page 233) with the DO module 6ES7 322-8BH01-0AB0). This DO module is very expensive (> 1000€) and, since I have to install 16 of them, would really increase the cost of my application. Since I am going to manage redundancy from the PLC application, is there an equivalent and cheaper DO module that can be interfaced with the relay MTA? Any help would be really appreciated |
