DINT to TIME or S5TIME

On many posts I saw, it was mentioned to use a T_CONV block. I can't find this block anywhere !! (Step7 Pro v10.5, with ET200s IM151-8 CPU) What's more I found that I could directly use a FC40 block with a DINT at the input. Infortunatly that doesn't work ! Just to give you a bit more precision, I want to use a timer, wich input time is given by an operator through the HMI (KEP 8100s MMI) Tanks in advance, Gadz

Gadz Member Joined: 5/11/2011 Last visit: 1/29/2025 Posts: 10 Rating: (1)	Hi, After trying to enter directly from the HMI the value in a DB, that works. The only problem I have now is to scale it. To sum up my problem: The operator changes the timer's value into through the HMI (this value is stored in the DB with format TIME) For exemple he decides to set the timer to 50 seconds. Does he have to set 50000 to make himself the scaling from ms to second? or is it possible to do the scaling with STEP7 (just an scaling or multicating block available for TIME format)? PS: @UMENCHO : the link you gave me deals with T_CONV blocks. I did not find anywhere these blocks in step7 (step7 V5.5 + IM151-8 CPU) EDIT: I have just seen that I was writing in TIA Portal forum. A have done a mistake writing here cause I'm using step7v5.5
