ali_abc Posts: 35 Rating: (0)	Hello, I want to communicate two ET 200M with cpu 318-2dp using profibus. I want to disable 2^nd ET 200M which node address 3 b/c at that time hardware is not available but I define it in hardware configuration . I used SFC 12 for deactive with parameters En and req are High Mode => 2 LADDR => 3 //node address of 2^nd et 200m Busy => low RET_VAL => 8090 but in CPU SF light on what's the problem occuring in it?? Why sf light on and ret_val is 8090 I also attached the pic of hardware conifguration relevant to my task... Attachment untitled.JPG (237 Downloads)

Perhaps this link might help: how do you switch off (decouple) a slave without causing an error entry to appear in OB 86/ OB 122? Best regards, Wizard

Murali Rajendran Posts: 72 Rating: (2)	hi, 1.can you set CPU DP address 2 and sleave 3,4..like that. 2.profibus cable you have to connect cpu side IN and 1st IM - IN and it's OUTto connect 2nd slave in. 3.firest and last node terminating resistor sw must switch ON..eg cpu sw and 2nd im switch. 4.set your IM dip switch what you are assigen in HW configuration. 5.once you set dip switch restart power supply.

Ste39 Platinum Member Joined: 1/21/2013 Last visit: 11/20/2024 Posts: 4620 Rating: (709)	Hi ali_abc, Wizard are right, You have to go to the hardware configuration and not see the Profibus address but the logical address of the station. e.g. Address 2044 in HEX W#16#7FC and you put this in LADDR of SFC 12.

Hi, Sure it won't be possible to use SFC 12 with the current firmware of the CPU 318 you have. Because the CPU's list were downloaded from the forum. Here is thelinkfor Firmware update for the CPU 318 with the deatailed procedure to the update. Please update and use the SFC 12.
