Disable(lock) single alarm

Hi,

What is the proper method to temporarily disable a single alarm at runtime in order not to come in? (And not with the use of the lock button of an alarm control, but for example with a check box of a faceplate of a device.)
What property, parameter, status bit should be changed by a C-script? I couldn't find lock tag/bit parameter for a single message.
