Hello everyone,

I am using WinCC Advanced (TIA portal v15.1, S7-1200, firmware: v4.2, Ethernet connection) and I have a problem with discrete alarms. 

Trigger tag for discrete alarms needs to be INT or WORD data type and I've got a lot of boolean signals which I would like to use in my Alarm view object. Probably, the best solution is to use function block BoolToWord but since I am using TIA portal v15.1 that block is not available. Also, slice access didn't work (writing bits into word). 

What are the other solutions for using boolean data type in discrete alarms?
