fritz Diamond Member Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 6/9/2023 Posts: 2969 Rating: (1025)	Dear FAQ-Expert first of all, interesting idea and concept to provide the "Disucss this FAQ here" link in the FAQ on top of the always available "Suggestion for entry". I like it and believe this direct link to the Forum foruser feedback & discussion here will lead to even better FAQ's. As for the scrutiny of the FAQ 67655405: Well, not to put too finer point to it, but the statement "Because the performance of the SIMATIC S7-1500 is better than that of the S7-300/400" is currently not true. More importantly though, even it were true, it has nothing to do with why only block interface, global data blocks or PLC tags need to be used in a 1500 to pass information on. I suggest you get rid of that silly sentence all together from the FAQ (there is really no need to justify why this behaviour has changed which is change for the better anyhow in my humble opinion).

The PDF file which is included support you for particular programming details which are necessery in S7-1500. If new CPUs are necessery with the required improvements at buyer's option, so you should be prepared for changes. Example by the S7-1500 is the optimized access in the Properties. Access is always as fast as possible because the data storage is optimized by the system and is independent of the declaration. With best regards Cicero
