Hi Atemp, There are many possibilities depending what system you are using. If you are using S7 and WinCC and not PCS7, you can use SFC87:C_DIAG for polling the connection status. See following FAQ: Using the system function SFC87 "C_DIAG" On the other hand if you are using PCS7: a) Without doing anything,the connection status messages are built-in/automatically generated (using FB88:CONEC). b) If you wantto graphically display connection information you can enableLifebeat monitoring. See following FAQ: PCS7 V6: Configuring Lifebeat Monitoring (LBM) c) If you want advanced network diagnostics (OSM's etc.), you can use the SNMP OPC server. See followingmanual: PCS 7 Network Diagnostics with the SNMP OPC Server With the additional Asset Management software, diagnostics up to module levelis possible. Regards |
