Display user name

Hello,

Question about WinCC flexible 2008.
For my project i want to display the user name in the template screen for the userthat is logged in.
So when i use Sm@rt service i can see directly who is logged in on the HMI that is standing by the machine.

There are 3 kind of user:
Operator, user, and programmer.

Is this possible?

Also i want to add an logout button in the template screen, that is only visible whenthere is a user logged in. (there are some functionsthat have acces without logging in)

Is this possible?

Hello,

this is really easy. Go to the scheduler at your project and add a new job. Take a look at the attached screenshots and do it like that.

I am working with TIA Portal v13, and I'm tryingto do the same asNick, but if I understand I can't do it in the same way. I follow your explanation docs but can't asign the "string tag" to a template_text or template_button. The problem is I can not find the field "Type-->Mode" and then set it to "Output".

What I am doing wrong?

Can you help me?
