Displaying alarm log in simulated HMI without PLC?

Hello! Dear specialists!

I have project with PLC (CPU 313C-2DP) and HMI panel (TP900 comfort+ SD card 2GB)

In project I make follows steps:

In the "HMI alarms" editor 72 discrete alarms are created (fig.1)

In the "Log" editor alarm log is created (fig.2)

In the "HMI alarms" editor (Alarm classes) the error alarm class are configured (fig.3)

In screen editor I added “alarm view” with next properties according to fig.4

Alarm screen works well when I use simulator! But in panel (TP900) alarm screen doesn’t work and has a system error (80052 Error during read access to log Alarm_log1)

What isn’t correct in my activities?

Yes its possible but i Wouldn´t use the Tag Simulation in TIA Portal. I would use the PLC Sim Simulaiton for PLC. In Most Cases the PLCSIM is much more safe in function than the Tag Simulation.

The HMI Tag - Simulator is a "pain in the ass".
In fact, doing simulation of messages with WinCCflexible (classic), a lot of problems appear.

It is much more comfortable and more powerful to use PLCSIM.

Yes but also PLC simulator is a Pain in the a... because in not NASA computer it really hurts the computer performances, plus he has to run the runtime simulator of WinCC...

If your computer becomes too slow you can simulate your tags directly in HMI, it is crude and raw but at least you don't have to run a PLC simulation.

So for example you have AlmWord0 which triggers your alarms, well in HMI you can use 16 buttons that one-by-one forces to 1 (when pressed) or to zero (when pressed again) all the bits of AlmWord0.

It seems that something is wrong with yor "NASA Computer". 

PLCSIM will absolute not consume high CPU or RAM performance.

Maximum 3% at my 2 years old i5. Even at very large programs and a lot of simulated I/O.
