Hi,

in my project I have a mixer that runs on switch button. I want to display time of his work. How is that possible? I've created time accumulator, but don't know how to display value in dd:hh:mm:ss:ms format, best in one I/O Field. Any ideas?

I've created something like this. I have FB on my S7-1200 made in SCL (way simplier):

"IEC_Timer_0_DB_6".TONR(IN:=#PRACA,
PT:= T#24d,
R := #RESET,
ET=>#TIME);

#MSEC := TIME_TO_UDINT(#TIME) MOD 1000;
#SEC := (TIME_TO_UDINT(#TIME) / 1000) MOD 60;
#MIN := (TIME_TO_UDINT(#TIME) / 60000) MOD 60;
#HR := (TIME_TO_UDINT(#TIME)/3600000)MOD 24;
#DAY := TIME_TO_UDINT(#TIME)/86400000;

And display each value in own I/O field. My question is:

Is possible to display it in one Field in DD:HH:MM:SS format ( for example 2d12h33m12s) ?

Hey anthek,

you can built a "time"-string in your PLC. Use the FC DTLtoString from the "Library of General Functions (LGF) for S7-1200/1500" to convert DTL format to string format.

Thanks for your help :)  But in this time i've figured out something else, it work as i desired. To my code below (SCL) i wrote this:

#TIME_STRING := CONCAT(IN1 := #TIME_STRING, IN2 := 'H:');
#T_TEMP := DELETE(IN := UDINT_TO_STRING(#MIN), L := 1, P := 1);
#TIME_STRING := CONCAT(IN1 := #TIME_STRING, IN2 := #T_TEMP);
#TIME_STRING := CONCAT(IN1 := #TIME_STRING, IN2 := 'M:');
#T_TEMP := DELETE(IN := UDINT_TO_STRING(#SEC), L := 1, P := 1);
#TIME_STRING := CONCAT(IN1 := #TIME_STRING, IN2 := #T_TEMP);
#TIME_STRING := CONCAT(IN1 := #TIME_STRING, IN2 := 'S');

This code delets sign in UDINT and make everything to one string, it works perfectly as I wanted :)
