Hi there, Please seriously consider what huggy_d1 suggested. My own approach would be slightly different. I would use an IEC timer instead of the S5 timer. Then already you will have the format that you need. On the panel you have scaling options. You can have the panel convert the resulting TIME (DINT) data type to an "engineering" unit that suits you best. The TIME value (read by the panel as DINT) gives a value in [ms]. You can have the panel scale the value to seconds.. and spare that calculation from the PLC. I hope this is clear and helpful to you.
