DO module power consumption

Vamsi_VVK Posts: 31 Rating: (6)	Hello, I just discovered that in the Data sheet for DO 16xDC (6ES7322-1BH10-0AA0), the power consumption is different if the installation is vertical vs. if it is horizontal, and the difference is quite significant (25%). Vamsi Vegamoor Hello Vamsi, It is my view, if you look at the card from top or bottom is open "vertical" so it is ventilated, while at the sides is closed and it is more difficult the ventilation in "horizontal" position

Dear pman, We are talking about the cards, not of Rack we can misunderstandings , modules and rack vertical and horizontal

As for the racks, pman is right. The whole rack has to be installed vertically/horizontally. pman , now I am a bit confused! I mean, a SM will be placed in some rack... right?
