Do you have any Open MODBUS TCP/IP Driver?

sheeraz Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi We tried to interface WinCC Flex SP2 with our Yokogawa STARDOM FCN RTU through MODICON MODBUS TCP/IP Protocol. But unfortunately an error occurred saying “Interface 10.122.210.17 cannot be opened” & no data has been transferred.( 10.122.210.17 is the IP Address of our RTU Controller) Whether WinCC Flex MODICON MODBUS TCP/IP Protocol only supports Schneider PLC or other PLCs as well? Do you have any Open MODBUS TCP/IP Driver? Herewith I have attached the screen shots of all the settings I have done in WINCC Flex & resulted error. Darius Platinum Expert Joined: 9/28/2005 Last visit: 8/22/2023 Posts: 2957 Rating: (242)	Hello, WinCC Flexible 2008 supports MODICON MODBUS TCP/IP driver and in general it should work with every PLC which has MODBUS TCP driver implemented. So you don't need to search for driver, but you need to find some problems in your configuration and/or PLC program. I don't like error message "interface can not be opened". It seems that this interface is at Flex RT side . Please check again you network configuration and all IP addresses and subnets used. Maybe you have two cards in PC with same subnet or some settings incorrect. I suggest to check network settings first. Then we need to think about other solution if network is ok.
