Docker -> IOT Serial

Hello everybody,

I have a question to use the serial port (ttyUSB0) in docker container.

Before i have install docker in IOT2050 and influxDB / Telegraf / Mosquitto... All it's working for this party.

My image is an pyhton:3.9.6-buster (with requirements) to communicate in Modbus RTU and TCP with 2 equipment and push all in MQTT. I haven't no problem with Modbus TCP but with Modbus RTU I cannot communicate with equipement.
I have testing my programm "python3" without docker and it's working.

So I think it's my docker config was wrong.

I don't understand why it's doesn't work.

Hello everybody,
I have found a solution.

Step 1 :
In folder "/etc/udev/rules.d/" create "99-serial.rules"
Insert KERNEL=="ttyUSB[0-9]*",MODE="0666"
Add user to use serial access

Step 2:
In docker : -v /dev:/dev

Step 3 :
In docker : --privileged

Step 4 :
Function : ls /dev/serial/by-id
To verify this function work in bash in the docker contener.
