Within the following manual S7-CPs for PROFIBUS Configuring and Commissioning you should find information about the FCs. Within STEP 7 using the online documentation you will get information too. Should be discriped within the same document. Maybe you give us a little bit more information about what you want to do? Best regards Sabine

Brebiou Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Okay, I have a CPU 313C 2DP, in slave mode, and i want communicate with a gateway converter Modbus TCP/Profibus (more informations here). But, CPU need to use communication blocks to exchange data with the gateway I think. The goal of the project is to make communicate Modicon Quantum <> CPU313C 2DP via the gateway Modicon Quantum communicate with gateway, thus it remains me has to make communicate CPU313C 2DP with gateway. What I know is that Modbus TCP/IP is possible with CP 343-1 Lean. But I don't know, which blocks needed an so on. There are other threads within this forum about that. Maybe you will find helpfull information there. Or one of the specialists will read this thread. Interested in the solution! Best regards Sabine

I have attached the user manual so yiou can study it; the part number of the FB Open Modbus/TCP package can be found in the first pages. If you want to communicate via an Ethernet you have to establish an ethernet connection within Netpro and transfer Data using AG_SEND and AG_RECV. Maybe this documentation will help you? Well, it is useless to use the blocks of communication, it is enough to make use of the IW and the QW directly. Now, the communcation running.
