Does DP port of CPU313C-2DP support DPV1 or not?

Dear Friends

I'm going to implement a time stamping application with ET200M (6ES7 153-2BA01-0XB0) and CPU313C-2DP . According to catalog of ET200M, it's necessary for DP master to support DPV1 to be able of  time stamping. So, I'm wondering if DP port of CPU313C-2DP supports DPV1 or not. I've read following instructions:

The first link proposed a procedure to detect which s7300 CPUs supports DPV1. I've installed the GSD V5 for IM153-2 (6ES7 153-2BA01-0XB0), unlike what is said in this procedure, after installation of GSD, still it's not possible to change between DPV0 and DPV1 in DP operating mode off CPU.

The second link, stated "In the S7-300 family, the CPUs with MMC support the DPV1 master functionality as of firmware version 2.0"

I'm confused which one is correct?!

As you can see in attachment, in the property dialog of CPU315C-2DP (DP-Operating Mode tab) there is no option for selecting DPV1, while for S7-400 CPUs it can be selected.

finally, can i use DP port of CPU313C-2DP for DPV1 functionality. 

Please give me your suggestion.

both documents are correct.

Please reread the first one!

You can never change the DPV Mode on the PLC Interface.

But in the Parametermask of the Slave (ET200 IM installed with GSD) you can see DPV1 or DPV0.

So yes both dociuments are correct and you should check if in the Parameters DPV0 or DPV1 is displayed.

Thank you . I've tested several CPUs like (6ES7 313-6CF03-0AB0-V2.6) and (6ES7 317-2AJ10-0AB0-V2.6).

As you can see in attachment (DPV1-IM153.pdf), I've installed the gsd.

But the DPV0/DPV1 you've mentioned is not displayed in parameter setting of ET200M.

open the parameters maskof the ET200 here you see if DPV1 master or DPV0 Master.

left one 313C-DP V1.0

right one 313C-DP V3.x

I can not find parameter mask?! what is that? i have no such parameters in HW config. I have just properties of ET200M that is displayed by double click on ET200M rack.

which type of IM153-2 you are using? and how should i access to parameter mask?!

i use the GSD from the link you provide.

The gsd objext is located in PROFIBUS DP -> additional Field devices-> I/O -> ET200M -> ET200M (IM153-2) DPV1

Drag and drop from the catalog to the profibusnetwork, doubleclick on the IM and then the tab Parameters.

After Installation of GSD, the new instlled GSD for IM153-2 will be available from:

Profibus DP>Additional Field Devices>I/O> ET200M.
