Does somenone know how to mirroring port in/with X204IRT switch?

Shinchan Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I am a student who is still new workingwith PLC, PROFINET and stuff. Does somenone knowhow to mirroring port in/with X204IRT switch? Because when i want to configure it via web based management i gotmessage as shown in the attachmentfile. Or is there any other ways to do it? Looking forward for you reply. If this is the case do you use it in IRT Mode or in RT Mode? A possible way to continu is to disconnect your controller, set the mirroring option and put the control on. I have to admit I'm not entirly sure how the behaviour of this feature is with the latest firmware version. What kind of firmware are you using? If it's lower then 4.1 please use the following link to update: Firmware V4.1 and GSDML File for SCALANCE X-200IRT Available for Downloading Since you write that you are a student I guess you want to research ProfiNet IO. To have a closer look at the telegrams you could think about using this device: http://www.profitap.com/But I guess it depends on how far you want/need to go with your project.

I am using the same switch as in hardware configuration STEP 7 with firmware 4.0, IRT (flexibility) configurated. I disconnected the controller from the switch. But i does not work. I wanted to attach my system configuration but the file is too large. But maybe the hints of my system devices might helps. I have: CPU319F-3 PN/DP, X204IRT switch, IM151-8F PN/DP, IE/AS-i LINK PN/IO, IM151 HIGH FEATURE, IM151-3 PN HIGH FEATURE. Might one of those devices could be a problem? But i did disconnected them all from the switch (only 1 port left used to access the web based management). Because i want to do the IRT test so, i configured the CPU, ET200S and Switch in IRT "high flexibility". Looking forward for your reply

Shinchan Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Yes, i know. We confirmed that V4.1 does not support port mirroring. They (will) have the newer version which is not free with this option. OrI have to downgrade to the V3.x but the problem is, it only has IRT "high performance"option and my other devices only support IRT "high flexibility". And those two types can not be combined together in a network.
