Does STEP5 for Mini PLC work with the s5 115u and other series cpu's

emacc1376 Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Import-User-2 for programming S5-100U by using a Notebook/Laptop you need the software "STEP5 for Mini PLC". The order-No. for this STEP5-Software is: 6es5864-0ma04. To go online from PC to PLC for transfering/modifying the programm, we recommend the converter cable 6es5734-1bd20 (V.24/TTY) To use this cable, your Notebook should have a RS232-Interface (COM-Port). emacc1376 Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	What would be the part number for the s5 software? Is that still available? So you mean that I would need two seperate software for the mini, the 115u and other plc's? I have fastrak softworks but I cannot write to the plc. I know that the license would have to be updated but I am wondering if having STEP 5 would be more benificial? What do you think?
