Hi Biagio , I have seen such hardware arrangement on some sites, but they were all not connected to an external profibus CP, they were connected to the internal profibus interface of the CPU. That's maybe yourproblem. Regards. |

Hello Biagio All I canoffer for now are a few questions: 1.) What devices are connected to the single OLM based Segment (Is it only a HMI or do you want to operateDP Slaves there)? TIBI68already asked this question too and it's answer will determine if your configuration will work or not.( I somewhat doubt that you have DP Slaves there, as this type of configuration wont be supported and you also won't be able to do a "correct" HWconfig for it, but please let us know anyhow). 2.) You say the OLM's CH2 LED (FO port) flashes red. Red flashing by itself does not (should not) exist, can you please check that again and see if it is a Red/Yellow flashing or permanently lit red (see also the OLM manual). 3.) If this an OLM V4, please confirm too that it is the CH2 LED and NOT the CH2-LEVEL LED. |

Hi Biagio , if I understand you correctlyyour OLM's are still connected to the external profibus cards. I think you shouldconnect them to the internal profibus port of the CPU's instead. Same configuration arrangement as in picture of the Siemens documentation. Regards. |
