Hi all,

                  In my program data exchange between plc and drive using SFC14 and SFC15. my program structure is FC109 used for main of drive communication that FC109 inside call SFC14 & SFC15. then that FC109 used(call) for various drive operation. i m not familiar with the function of plc to drive and vice versa. in my program FC-109,the read and write data in the array format. After that array data is spillted into various address.

                                 here i attached the FC-109 block,pls go through and guide me,that the array is how to spillted and how to determined in the specific function like that ready to run,alarm,fault,etc.,, in my program.

at first, you don´t have to split the contents of an array. An array is a sequence of several equal datatypes. You can access it on the whole or every each position. 

in Network 13 there is #read[1] copied to temp data #status2. so in the first input-word of your drive you will find this control-word. 

The following networks are processing the other information of the drive, like speed, torque, etc.

The bits L1.2, L1.3, L1.0 and L1.7 are bits of status1 and it is moved in read[1], which apperently is the control-word of your drive. 

The real adresses of the drive you find in the parameter adress of the FC109 and it is 3308. This should be the adress you could find in your HW-config of your drive.

                             Thanks for your reply. i understand the usage of array. i m not familiar with the data transfer of drive to plc and vice versa    Any sample program is there for control word and status word bits how to sent and receive inbetween.plc and drive. i refer maunal that control and status bit used for like run,ready to run,stop,fault,fault achknowledge etc.,,

                             dont mistake me for my qustion,because i need to understand how to communication between plc and drive.how to  do program in plc to access the drive data and how to program in drive monitor. 

example in our machine using S7-400 PLC and MM440 drive. i try to check the plc program, did in SFC14 and SFC15 for read and write consistency data and that output in moved to some DB. i can understand in PLC program, but not understand in the drive monitor program.

      Pls sent any basic sample program for PLC and Drive program for my better understanding.

You do not mention the drive you are working with, so the answer will have to be very general.
