Step7 5.0 and WinCC V6.0 are very old.

A Trial-Download is available for the newest Step7 5.5 SP4.

WinCC-versions that are available for download are only for TIA.

      Actually I have the recent softwares which you mentioned in the Link. Anyway thanks for that.

The reason why I enquired that was i have a Project backup which created in  Step7 5.0 version.Maybe I dont know the exact version. It was commissioned in 2006. Now i need to modify some logics and copy into the Existing PC in plant and carry out the Download to save time at the Plant.

Right now i have Step 7 V5.5 sp4 with me and i can open the backup.I am worried that if i modify in current version(step7 5.5 sp4) and later on can i be able to copy the logics and download in the Plant available software?

is it possible to carry out or it doesnt allow to transfer the logics?

or can i try Creating a Library and develope the changes and copy those logics in the Existing Plant version software?(The library will be created in Step7 V5.5 sp4)

Can anyone pls help me out with this...

should be no problem. the CPU can be projected an programmed with Step7 5.5 SP4.

I also had very old CPUs in a project, 10 year older than yours. they were from 1996, one of the first S7-300 and S7-400 CPUs, and I was working with Step7 5.5 SP4 without any problems.
