Download S5 prog to Eprom

louda Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi, I did`t use S5 so far but now I have to put allready finshed program to PLC. I have Step 5 v7.2 ,USB prommer and folder with program which contein one .s5d ; one .SEQ and three .QVL files . Please help!!! Which of these files I must put on Eprom and how? And in my ressource list is written that I need 16 kB Eprom but any of above mentioned files is much bigger then 16kB??? Thanks Desperate One.

JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	Hi, .S5D is the S5 PLC code file. Other files are supporting files. Need to know last two characters of the file name (not file extension type) to knowwhat it is . But ST.S5D is the file you need. The length of thefile includes comments are other data that does not go into EPROM. First of all I am hoping you have one of those new CPUs with flash card. Check up this Manual.
