Hello,

We have CPU S7-300 with MMC+battery programmed with simatic manager

We make some modifications in the program.

Is it possible to download the program to CPU RAM and not use the option"Save to memory card"

because if happen a problem in the program,we make memory reset and return to the original program which saved in MMC?

maybe there is some mistakes, the CPU with MMC small card no have battery, only the CPU with MC big blue card have battery

in short

 If you have CPU with battery and MC big blue card if you download program without copy to eeprom just take off the battery and then you erase your modification.

If you have CPU with MMC small card if you download some modification they go directly in the MMC

If you have CPU with MMC small card if you download some modification they go directly in the MMC

a-How can solve this problem and why it happen?

b-Is the solution that download the final program again because through HMI we not able to change these values?

2 - How can you back up the actual values of DBs and markers? - ID ...

3 - As far as I know Upload mean from CPU to PC
