Hi,

I tried to transfer a wincc program to a mobile panel 177b trought profibus but I can't detect what I'm doing wrong.

When I try to detect the panel with profibus test in step7 everything apears except the panel. I set up the transfer settings in the panel, with exactly the same settings of the the old panel that was in the machine, address, speed, etc, and I can detect the old panel but when I put the new one I have nothing there in the net. The only thing wich is missing to test is to use the new panel with the cable of the old one. Because we test it with a cable we have here but it can be a used one.

But despite of this test we will do tomorrow can you se something tha can be missing in the configuration?

I'm using a simatic field pg M4 with the interface CP5711.Profibus selected.

The panel order number is: 6AV6645-0AC01-0AX0

lets have a look at the Profibus.

Which Connection Box do you use?

-> Is the Connection box the last node on the Profibus?

If you go to "Set PGPC Settings" and do at diagnostic a Test and a read out of the Bus-> Do you see the Panel?

The Panel has to be in Transfer mode of there is no Project on it!!!! only then you could see the Panel.

Be sure that you have activated the Checkbox "Panel is only Master on the Bus"
