Tola Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Pls help. I keep getting this message while trying to download into a CPU314-2DP,"configured hardware different from target hardware". I'm using STEP7 V5.4 + SP4. The order no. for my hardware is 6ES7 314-6CG03-0AB0 while the order for the option in the program is 6ES7 314-6CF01-0AB0. How do I resolve this issue. Thanks

Make a memory reset and then download the new hardware configuration.

How do you reset a SIMATIC S7-300 CPU and MMC (default reset or overall reset)?

Tola Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi, Thks for the reply.I followed the link and I have downloaded and installed the HSP. The problem I'm having now is that the firmware was upgraded to version 2.6 while the one on my hardware is 2.6.4. I'm still having problem downloading programs into the software. Tola

In your case - the last 2.6 is using for all 2.6.x. Just is recommended always to keep your hardware with the last firmware. BTW update Step7 version to 5.4 SP5. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
