I have developed a WinCC program with TIA Portal v17 to be downloaded into a TP Comfort 15" (6AV2 124-0Qc02-0AX1) and performed a download. The download process failed due to incompatible HMI firmware version. From troubleshooting, I realised that the physical HMI firmware version is v16.0.0.3. 

However, TIA portal has only TP Comfort 15" (6AV2 124-0Qc02-0AX1) firmware version 16.0.0.0 so that my download effort always failed.

Question:  How can I get the hardware catalog of TP Comfort 15" with firmware version 16.0.0.3?

Hi,

First you need to change the FW version for you panel in the TIA project. To do that you need to open Device configuration and after that right click on the panel and "Change device". Find your HMI panel with FW version 17 (You are using TIA 17).

After you finish with your project you need to update the FW version of your HMI panel. Click on the HMI panel in device configuration  and go to menu Online > HMI Device Maintenance > Update operating system. (To do that first you need to have images for that panel in your PC) 

If you don't have the image you are able to download it from hire.

At the end of the OS update you will be able to download your project.
