could you please explain a bit more? To tell you the truth I have no clue what you talk about. Do you want to exchange faulty Slaves in a AS-i Network or do you want to exchange the DP/AS-i Link 20E completely? I do not know.

well if the Slaves have been known to the network and if you get the Slaves with the default Address 0 than I think this is a really easy one. Just remove one of the faulty Slaves and replace it by the replacement module of the same type. If the Slave is identified with the same type the Address is being changed by the Master automatically and replaces the "old" Slave.

It is very important to replace only one Slave at a time, especially if you have several Slaves of the same type. Please check that the Master is set to AP, auto program, to ensure that the Slaves will be replaced automatically. This should be the case if the Master is in CM, configured mode.

• LDS list of detected AS-i slaves
• LPS list of permanent AS-i slaves (configured AS-i slaves)

If you now compair the LAS with the LPS you find the difference and the difference is the missing slave. Thats it.

The FC 7 can be found as part of asampleat the Link I posted at the "Info" Link on the right side of the screen.

you still did not read the manual, did you?

If you read the Manual at Page 72 you see for example that the LADDR is the module start address as specified in STEP7 configuration, HW Config.
It is needless to say that the Send Buffer contains the complete Command set, it is depending on the command one Byte is mostly not sufficient, but it might be in your case.

Please be aware that the Receive buffer has to have a certain minimum size, especially with your command call.
