sado19 Regular Member Joined: 6/26/2008 Last visit: 12/29/2023 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have a question about the S7-300 communication I am calling FC1 DP_SEND and FC2 DP_Receiv block from the OB1 and then I have created a cfc chart and insert some element timer or "and", "or" block etc... in it .when I finished the CFC chart folder I have tried to compile it. but it saysthat FC1 DP_SEND is out of range, FC2 DP_receive is out of range etc... what must I do ? When I use This comm... block in the OB1 or OB35, could'not I use CFC chart? ,

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, well, I guess that this fault is due to a problem in your settings of the CFC Compiler you use. In the settings for Options > Customize > Compile / Download you find the point Areas Reserved for other Applications. Here you enter the area where you can store your used FC’s in and this area is not used by the CFC Compiler to create its own FC’s. The message you receive shows directly into this direction. So you have two chances to get rid of this Problem. You change the FC # for DP_SEND and DP_RECV into the area you defined, I hope at least, for customized FC’s, or. You change the Area reserved for other Applications to start with 1. (Which is not recommendable) If you want study the CFC Manual from page 192 and following. Best regards J_Bell
