Hi experts, I am facing one situation. 2 GREEN lights showing everything is healthy on DP DP Coupler. But no communication between 2 masters! At my end i have one CPU 300F and 2 CPs. One CP (in DP Master mode) communicates with the DP DP Coupler. At other end I have Other CPU 300F and 1 CP (in DP Master mode) communicating with the DPDP Coupler. {For Testing purpose only later will be hooked to other system} I have made the HW Config of this accordinly (Input byte on my PLC side is Outputbyte on other PLC side). I have checked previous threads and my DP DP couplerI/O Addresses are under the CPU's PII and PQW area but it is unable to write. I have created a setup that has other CPU 300 with a CP card. so i have made changes in the software accordingly. I am in addition to this maintaining the same DB structure for both PLC. Only the software addresses for send receive change. Observations: 1. I am not able to find any thing under the VAT table at IO Address Area. i can see thesenddata in DBs. How can i cross check the data i am sending? 2. No errors in the FC1 and FC 2 on both sides. Can some one pls suggest. Thanks a lot AGR AttachmentDP DP Details.zip (88 Downloads) |

You know, that DP/DP coupler just provide a transparent I/O "communication"? |
